Having a particular interest in video games growing up, as well being surrounded by various forms of music, Rick developed a strong appreciation and understanding of the power and impact that music can bring, particularly with enhancing narrative effect.
The unique genre synthesis encompassed within Screen and Games music inspired Rick to undertake music education at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA), learning under the direction of accomplished music figures such as Anton Koch (The Exorcism of Emily Rose).
Having recently graduated, Rick is starting to establish his presence within the music industry, whilst continuing to utilise opportunities for further learning and professional development.
Ricks works reflect his eclectic and diverse musical influences, from acclaimed video game soundtracks such as Nier: Automata and Super Mario Galaxy, to various contemporary artists ranging from Pop icons such as Taylor Swift, to Instrumentalists like Lindsey Stirling, Rock/Metal bands like Evanescence, Folk/New Age Composers like Enya, and Techno Producers/DJs like Marie Vaunt
